I just came across my photo of this self-portrait by Elisabeth Vigée le Brun (1782/3) that I took a few years ago at London's (National Portrait Gallery). It's always cheered me up and I make sure to visit every time I'm in town.

Displaying the tools of her trade, it's deliberately modelled it on Rubens’s 'Portrait of Susanna Lunden', and as such, le Brun has associated herself with the greatest painter of his age. Fantastic self-promotion!

I miss my hockey jerseys like this one. Had this one and the white and gold one.

I also miss my 25 year old body that fit in them well. 😭

I lost a chunk of my collection when we abandoned my mom's house. My two Prince comics, all of my Prince vinyls, all sorts of misc. things... It makes me so depressed thinking of all I lost, and knowing I can't make money in this society to ever replace any of it.
