An even better Bible: #NRSVue, the new New Revised Standard Version (#NRSV)
https://www.christiancentury.org/article/interview/even-better-bible An interview with the leaders of the project. I was interested to read that although the #RSV will remain in print, the NRSV will be replaced by the NRSVue over a period of years. (h/t @b_hawk )
Incidentally, I like what I've seen so far of the updated #NRSV. I think I'll get one when it's out in large print (my eyes have decided that they are definitely middle aged now, so no 9-point font for me).
Any #NRSVUE #UpdatedNRSV users here with thoughts?

So, I may or may not have bought a different Bible translation to assist me in my #EfM study. I've been using the #NRSVue because that seems to be what my church uses. But at times, it's very clunky and wordy. And my current EfM assignment is Leviticus and Numbers, which are a bit tedious and dry. So my priest recommended that I try the #CEB and that seems to be smoother and more natural sounding. #Episcopal #Episcopalian #EducationForMinistry
