Product #testing

The product #safety standards that I work on include definitions, specifications, approval tests our Nationally Recognized Testing #Laboratories (#NRTLs) must perform, and even markings.

What they leave out is any requirements for post-approval, assembly line or as-shipped testing. This is up to the manufacturers and the NRTLs. Perhaps #OSHA, the agency certifying NRTLS, looks at their protocols for follow-up when considering whether to authorize or re-certify them.
