Wonderful to attend the Scottish Chambers of Commerce 2022 Business Address in Glasgow last night. Great to catch up with so many folks & meet so many new business owners from across Scotland too. Excellent speakers, with the shared passion for a successful Scotland through cross sector collaboration writ large - ever more important with the tough challenges we all face. Huge thanks Stephen Leckie and Dr Liz Cameron CBE for being such wonderful hosts. #NSET

A great learning session with Scottish Government colleagues today, via our “In The Service of Scotland” programme. Alongside my fellow DG Caroline Lamb (Health & Social Care), it was fabulous to introduce Dame Anna Dominiczak + Paul Wilson of the Smart Things Accelerator Centre to talk all things cross sector innovation, with a focus on health. I especially loved Dame Anna’s “Triple Helix” model - the magic that happens when you bring together the health service; academia and business. #NSET

Fantastic couple of days across Highlands on my “National Strategy for Economic Transformation” #NSET tour. So much innovation & vision from every business & cross-sector partner I met.
