보안적합성 검증 4.1.0.0 마무리 단계였는데, 이제 고객이 해당 버전의 배포본을 받을 수 없다.

#VMware has confirmed that the port disclosure is incorrect.
The 9000 and 9040 are still used in #NSX 4.1 to exchange structured and metrics data between NSX Managers.
The same is the case for 1236.
Now that Now that
ports.esp.vmware.com is untrusted, if you are required to submit port information, be sure to check it out.

Selection of cars from this morning's #CarsAndCoffee in #Galway. This manual 1991 #Honda #NSX looked amazing, I reckon the 16" wheels are freshly refurbished, and the (NSX branded) calipers haven't a bit of dirt on them!

VMware NSX - Host Transport Nodes
#NSX Manager ESXi 호스트는 SSL 통신한다. 계산 관리자인 vCenter를 통해 확인한 thumbprint 정보를 기반으로 목적지를 신뢰한다.
SSL thumbprint는 플레인텍스트로 ESXi 호스트 내 "/etc/vmware/nsx-mpa/mpaconfig.json" 파일에 저장된다. ESXi 호스트의 root 계정만 접근할 수 있다.
이 파일은 인증 과정에서 NSX Manager 개체를 확인하는 정보이다. NSX VDS 또는 NSX Manager 관리접속을 위해 활용하지 않는다.

VMware NSX 4.1.0.0
클러스터에 오버레이 전송 노드 배포했는데 호스트 5대 중 3대 네트워크 구성 복구 불가능하게 죽여서 vSAN 스토리지도 죽으며 다 눕고 난리 났었다.
vCenter 없이 ESXi 호스트 초기화한 후에 CLI 통해 #vSAN 구성 넣어 스토리지 연결해 붙혀 정합성 살리고, vCenter 가동시켰다. 그리고 뗀 다음에 다시 붙힌 후에 vDS 재구성 복구. 대체 몇 년 만에 해보는 수동 복구 장애? ㄷㄷ
#NSX 요새 VIB 패키지 리부트 필요 없다며 동시에 병렬 처리하던데…… vSAN 환경이 네트워크 인터페이스 카드에 의존하고 있어서 데이터 센터 전체가 훅 가버리네,

Can I get help from an engineer who is familiar with the architecture of VMware NSX?
I know that TCP 9000 is not used since NSX 4.1.0.0, but when I do "get cluster config" in NSX Manager, the DATASTORE entry is still showing 9000. Is this for communication with older versions?
