Could anyone help me with #lynx browser?

I’m trying to set up the external viewer for images, so:
MAKE_LINKS_FOR_ALL_IMAGES:TRUE
XLOADIMAGE_COMMAND:nsxiv %s
VIEWER:image/jpeg:nsxiv %s&:XWINDOWS
for example, but no way. I can only download the image but not view it inside #nsxiv

Until today I can't imagine that #nsxiv could play gifs :blobaww:

If you fancy #sxiv, there is more actively maintained fork, with some new features and bug fixes called #nsxiv.
