Something I find fascinating, watching & now being part of a volunteer organisation that produces a professional standard product is:
the tension between "just volunteers" "part of the community, just like you" and "if you're selling something, you're a business, act professional"! (aside - does this mean act like a capitalist??)
It's hard for volunteers to be as stand-offish / unaffected by criticism as paid workers. And audiences don't seem to have an awareness of what is/isn't achievable & how to constructively criticise.
I've realised there are few models for #NullSignalGames in being in the volunteer but professional space. I'm excited for the rapid development of lots of mastodon instances, I think it will offer more models & audiences will become used to thinking about these issues

I suppose as there's more folks about the place it's worth doing another #introduction post.

The #Netrunner Mastodon community is probably not large enough for this to get much traction, but I'm hoping.

Query: What would a #Netrunner 2.0 look like? #NullSignalGames has to build on the foundation set before, but if you were to go back to Square One, what would a "Netrunner but better" game look like?
