Haha the folks at Sport Auto took the rally-modded #Porsche 911 Dakar for a trip around the #Nürburgring Nordschleife and…took a few agricultural shortcuts…to get a great 7m39s lap time for a car on knobbly tires!

The #Porsche911 Dakar crossed the finish line with a lap time of 7 minutes, 39.4 seconds. Test driver #ChristianGebhardt took as many liberties as possible, using the barriers lining the circuit as the track limit. The lap was faster than those set by the #Bugatti #Veyron and #MercedesBenz SLS AMG. Extremely impressive for a lifted car fitted with Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain tires.

My first fastest lap in an official #GT7 race ever! And on the #Nordschleife of all places! Feels great, even racing in the lowest tier. Sad I started on the wrong tires, could have made up more places otherwise.

ニキ・ラウダはF1でここの手前の高速コーナーの縁石に乗ってクラッシュし車は大破炎上し生死を彷徨った
