Hey fellow #nutmeggers, #connecticut residents, and well, anyone that sends checks through the #USPS, be very cautious: #mail thieves have been swiping envelopes to accounts receivable. In the past week, someone tried to cash two checks my father had mailed in to pay bills. He mailed at least 12 that haven't been received and deposited. If you have outstanding checks you mailed out, keep an eye out. Also, check on your elderly folks that mail checks out.
