Yes, #NVIS or Near Vertical Incidence Skywave is the #AmateurRadio mode that interests me for its practicality for reliable regional communicates independent of any infrastructure.

28 followers · 22 posts · Server mastodon.radioBack in 2016 myself along with Al VE6RFM(sk) embarked on a 60m auroral zone propagation study, we collected Olivia and JS8call beacon data from late 2016 until early 2021. I presented some of our findings at the 2021 RAC virtual conference.
Since then I've started down the road of analyzing WSPR data for 160m - 40m NVIS propagation.
