Ugh I've gotta figure out how to make my old copy of iSpy #NVR play nice with my parents ISP, Ponderosa Telephone. Their support person won't respond to my emails about why they're blocking port 22 to my #VPN with #DreamHost after years of letting me have a bunch of concurrent #SFTP connections to the same IP address. Every ~24 hours the block resets and it works for ~10 minutes before getting blocked again.

Is it possible to have a #PHP script on a webpage search a public #Dropbox or #GoogleDrive folder? I've been using #iSpy #NVR 's built-in SFTP functionality for years to upload a rolling set of images to a web server but recently the ISP restricted how many concurrent SFTP connections I can have. So I'm thinking Drive or Dropbox could be a solution if I can figure out how to search for the most recent images in public folders.

I was able to get my #synology #NAS (on #NVR duty) to send alerts to #ntfy even tho it doesn't have a direct way to post notifications. turns out it's SMS notification service does a JSON POST to selected or a custom added one. Luckily it apparently ignores cert errors as there is no way to add your own certs to its collection.
