I had to run an errand ahead of an upcoming work trip and passed one of the worst traffic backups I've seen on I-49 since we've lived in Northwest Arkansas. Near standstill on all southbound lanes during rush hour. Found myself snaking around back roads to get home. Fortunately traffic backups like this aren't the norm, yet.

I'd been away for a while, so perhaps a re-#introduction is in order.

I'm a queer, nerdy guy from #NWArkansas. My interests include, but are not limited to: #music (EDM, Synthwave, Rock, Pop, Blues and select Country and Metal artists), #sports (#Razorbacks and #DallasCowboys), #gaming (big into #FFXIV and #HonkaiStarRail right now), #politics (#LGBTQIA rights, workers rights, criminal justice reform, local #Arkansas stuff and more), as well as #SciFi and all kinds of #art.

I saw a billboard for an intriguing new shop in my area so I went with my best bud to check it out.

They sell their own handmade soaps, lotions, lip balms, deodorant, bathbombs, and other body care stuff like that - all of which were in glass, aluminum, paperboard or other non-plastic packaging! They also sell some local-made jams, jellies, and art work and they resale products from some brands I already know and love like Enviroscent and Marley's Monsters. Best of all, they had a nice refill station for laundry soap, dish soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap. I've been yearning for a local place like this so I am so excited and I hope they thrive!
