The Norwescon #LittleFreeLibrary is once again accepting donations for the convention table. We happily accept all genres of books, magazines, media, and more. Donations are open all year, or bring your contributions to #NWC46. Last year we rehomed thousands of books, which couldn't have happened without a community effort! We are pleased to announce that #JimButcher will be our Writer Guest of Honor for #NWC46!

Jim Butcher is the author of #TheDresdenFiles, #CodexAlera, and a new #steampunk series, #TheCinderSpires. His resume includes a laundry list of skills which were useful a couple centuries ago, and he plays guitar quite badly. An avid gamer, he plays tabletop games in varying systems, a variety of video games on PC and console, and LARPs whenever he can make time for it.

Calling all Filmmakers! Norwescon’s Speculative Film Fest is back for another year. The festival is a great way to get your #ScienceFiction, #fantasy, and #horror short #films shown to the #NWC46 membership. Submissions open on July 15. Films may be submitted on #FilmFreeway using this link: https://filmfreeway.com/SpeculativeFilmFest. We are once again waiving the submission fee for #BIPOC directors, as we feel it is important to show your visions and stories. Submissions close December 15.
