I'm going to NYCC in October so now I'm under pressure to figure out how to style my squad when we go. I am extremely not a costume designer but it feels wrong just to show up in civvies.

- put the brochure together that I said I'd do for strike support

- move Loom videos all to my Makertube and switch out the pinned tutorial links

- record at least half a dozen more Masto walkthroughs

- keep migrating stuff from One Drive and corporate social media, because fuck 'em.

I’m currently desperate for 5 things. In no particular order, except for number 1:

2. A long, solid, deep… night of sleep

@let_me_dream_with_ofmd I live in Phoenix and attended in-person last year. It’s 1000% worth it and I’d be attending again this year if not for #NYCC. If you’re on the fence and can afford to attend in-person, I very much recommend it.

It’s entirely fan-focused - organized, led, and attended. The lack of cast members doesn’t diminish how special of an event it is or the memories/friendships you’ll make.

It’s one of the best events I have ever attended of any fandom or size. Totally worth it.
