You can learn #biology even in #urbanscapes: many #plants #flower more in sunny than in shady places (and this may have consequences for the abundance & diversity of #pollinators ...).
Eg, #Bougainvillea below native to South America (#Nyctaginaceae), with small flowers surrounded by pink bracts (not petals!)
