"Kaya Bunuru. The Second Summer of the Nyoongar calendar is in full swing. While it’s typically the hottest time of year, we’re in for a fairly mild week in the southwest of our State with warm temps and cool sea breezes near the coast. Keep an eye out for white flowers during this season, with lots of white flowering gums in full bloom, such as our jarrah, marri and ghost gums.
While our northwest remains in full wet season mode (Wunju in the Wunambal Gaambera calendar, Man-Gala on Yawuru Country and Nyinggiyi-mageny near Kununurra on Miriwoong land), it seems the heavy rains are done for a little while, with only a few showers forecast for the Kimberley and Pilbara this week"
