Saw Loop Track on the weekend, definitely recommend it if you like kiwi horror movies. https://www.nziff.co.nz/2023/film/loop-track/ #nziff
Incredibly short notice, but would anyone in #Wellington like a free single ticket to the #NZIFF Animation for Kids 4+ shorts screening at 10am at the Embassy?

Enjoyed "Mars Express" (2023) tonight, at the Hollywood Avondale. Part of the #NZIFF. With out a doubt the best French animated sci-fi noir I've seen all year. A lot of detail flying by, still unpacking parts of it. Glad I "braved" the "cold" and the crowd for it.
The thing is though, as I realised walking home, I don't want to live in that future.
Film buddies selfie in between my #nziff #CivicTheatre double feature with Miss Almost 13:

Saw the new film, "Ms. Information" about Siouxsie Wiles at the NZIFF last night. What a terrific piece on Dr. Wiles's efforts to communicate COVID-19 information to the public, running a research lab, being a mother & spouse, all as a pandemic breaks out. 1/3
About to see Ms. Information #msinformation #nziff #nziff23 @SiouxsieW

So, it seems that this year's Cannes Palme d'Or winner ANATOMIE D'UNE CHUTE (ANATOMY OF A FALL) is quite a good film - go figure! 🤔 😂

Mars Express: It's scifi and I liked the trailer, do I need any more reason? https://www.nziff.co.nz/2023/auckland/mars-express/ #NZIFF
Monster: Kore-eda. Enough said. Expect kids and unusual situations, and families, found or not and just go see it. https://www.nziff.co.nz/2023/auckland/monster/ #NZIFF
#Manhole: And I'm also not sure if I'm going to be able to make it to this bottle episode of a film, but it sounds like an original. https://www.nziff.co.nz/2023/auckland/manhole/ #NZIFF
Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret: I'm hoping this is a great adaption of Judy Blume. https://www.nziff.co.nz/2023/auckland/are-you-there-god-its-me-margaret/ #NZIFF
EO: It's about a donkey and it's playing in the festival, do I really need to know more? https://www.nziff.co.nz/2023/auckland/eo/ #NZIFF
Ms. Information: Siouxsie Wiles and the internet. Doco. https://www.nziff.co.nz/2023/auckland/ms-information/ #NZIFF
Arnold Is a Model Student: I love a good Thai film and this one sounds fun, hopefully it's as good as the similarly themed 'Bad Genius'. https://www.nziff.co.nz/2023/auckland/arnold-is-a-model-student/ #NZIFF
Pacifiction: We don't get to see much of French Polynesia on screen, so I'm very curious about this. https://www.nziff.co.nz/2023/auckland/pacifiction/ #NZIFF
Bad Behaviour: Some mixed reviews for this, by and with Alice Englert (Jane Campion's daughter), and starring Jennifer Connolly. Mothers and daughters and Hollywood. https://www.nziff.co.nz/2023/auckland/bad-behaviour/ #NZIFF
Mutt: From the Fresh Films strand, Mutt sounds right up my alley. https://www.nziff.co.nz/2023/auckland/mutt/ #NZIFF
