Hebe /Veronica sp., a NZ native plant, Leonohebe cupressoides. We found this one growing in West Otago just outside a farm boundary fence, 29 Dec 2022. It was covered in flowers, attracting lots of insects!

As I wandered past some native plants at Black Gully Reserve, the shadows caught my eye. The large bright green leaves catching the shadows belong to a Griselinia species. 28 Dec. Tapanui, West Otago, New Zealand. #NewZealand #native #nzplants
