The internet is flooded with pictures of the former concentration camp #Auschwitz #Stammlager and #birkenau
Therefore, here are some impressions I took on a could and lazy morning, when we walked a bit through the actual city of #oświęcim

- a statue of a perhaps famous guy
- and a bell 😅 .... very obvious]
(unfortunately I cannot tell further what's exactly on the photos 🤷)

I want to visit #Oświęcim (= #Auschwitz) in October. Flights only going to Warsaw, while Krakow would be closer. Next idea was by train. Checking the international travel site of our (🇧🇪) railway company -> not one single destination in Poland possible 🤷‍♂️
Taking a look later if it's possible to book something via German railway bahn.de 🙄
But I can already hear my disappointment....
