If Obergefell is overturned, the 35 states with statutory or constitutional same-sex marriage bans would again be legally able to enforce them for any new marriage license applications.
Same-sex couples who wish to marry in those states would have to travel to a state where same-sex marriage is legal to do so.

Went to the local courthouse, where the #progressive then-mayor Megan Barry showed up to perform #weddings for the joyous couples who had arrived to tie knots. Watched a few dozen ceremonies, cried more than a little, then headed downtown for a celebration that featured a #gay choir that sang with such purity. Just a splendid day. Here's to being allies for #love.
