Oh, great! Obey me! Nightbringer suddenly wants me to turn off developer mode.

My phone works like potato with animations and other stuff on so I guess I am not playing anymore (unless they fix it).

Also, It is MY phone and I can maybe agree not to root it for banking app (for now). But not even having developer optionss on? What a joke.

Rainy afternoons.

Those were always Lucifer's favorite.

Whenever the skies would darken past noon, ready to cry its heart out into the world, Lucifer was there to relish the tears from the comfort of the House of Lamentation.

He would have soaked in the rain if he wanted to, but his pride didn't exactly allow him to do so. He would surely look like an idiot— laughing and running around in this weather.

The demon would often just watch from his bedroom window instead, holding a glass of demonus, just in a comfortable robe and enjoying himself.

And of course, his most favorite activity, watching his favorite—very moronic, but favorite— younger brother, Mammon.

Lucifer watches from the inside with a small smile on his face as the second-born plays in the rain himself, uncaring of how people judge him. Uncaring of the opinions of the crowd, even as they look at him as if he was crazy.

The eldest of the family was sometimes envious of this; to think that someone could be so carefree that no amount of negativity could overcome his sunlight. Was it naivety ? He didn't think so, but at the same time, Lucifer is relieved.

He's relieved Mammon is happy, even as he trips and falls in the mud, he's happy. Joyous and stands back up again, just to play in the rain some more.

The greedy demon only stops when he begins to shiver from the cold, so he enters the house again. Playtime is over, it seems. Lucifer takes this as his cue to pick up a warm towel from his bathroom and head downstairs to dry the other.

When he gets there, Mammon is shaking his head as his own means to dry himself. An idiotic way, but Lucifer isn't surprised. This is Mammon after all (he wouldn't admit it, but it was very cute.)

"Here." He says, placing the towel on the other's head and rubbing it around, hearing little grunts and complaints in the process. Lucifer chuckles when he sees Mammon's mess of a hair, earning him a "hmph" from said demon.

The two make their way upstairs afterwards, peaceful as they head to Lucifer's room. Mammon sees the bed and ultimately tries to jump on it, wanting to feel the softness of the silk enveloping him in a warm hug but is briefly stopped by his older brother. Mammon groans as Lucifer drags him to the bathroom by the scruff of his shirt collar.

"You are not laying in my bed until you've cleaned yourself," Lucifer starts, prepping the warm water to bathe his brother in.

"I don't want mud on my sheets." The morning star looks back at him and the younger immediately knows his order. So he follows and strips himself of his clothing, shameless.

They had seen each other's naked bodies hundreds of times in their lives anyway, it was only natural at this point.

Mammon hops into the bath and begins washing off some of the mud that got onto his skin. The older of the two went on to wash his hair, warming him up to the top of his head.

It reminds Lucifer of when they were in the Celestial Realm, where he used to bathe and dress Mammon, as well as the rest of his young brothers at the time. A bittersweet memory of the past that Lucifer sometimes visits.

After the bath, Mammon dries himself before putting some (of Lucifer's) clothes and finally hopping into bed, curling himself into it. Lucifer joins him not a second later, spooning the younger and kissing the back of his head. He tells him how happy he looked outside and that he wished to join him someday, when his pride wouldn't come and stop him.

Mammon, sweet Mammon, turns around to face him. He has a smile on his face as he tells Lucifer that by the next rainy afternoon, he's dragging the other with him outside.

Lucifer doesn't refuse.
