I went to my gp a few years back following my #TubalLigation there was a painful something wrong. She started then and there on the diagnostic path. I was then referred back to my #obgyn #gynae consultant. He listened and took my pain seriously. 1/2

In response to a doctor asking why there is such a drastic lack of care for pregnant patients and their newborns in Lethbridge this was the Alberta Premier’s answer:
“…we have midwives who are able to have home births and if we can have midwives doing home births, surely we would be able to support more maternity in all four rural hospitals and so it’s seems to me it hinges on not having enough anesthesiologists“
