During a recent post mortem I realized we need to improve your #observabiity .

Our APIs are very resilient, but we now struggle finding the actual impact while our logs and metrics see increasing technical errors during an incident. We need correlation between individual failed operations, their retries or backup requests, and the ultimate outcome.

My API reported many technical failures, but impact was minimal, bar some negligible extra latency.
