I watched #FallingDown (1993) over the weekend. #MichaelDouglas plays an #obsessiveCompulsive character who cracks after a divorce and losing his job. He runs amok eventually leading to his death. Meanwhile the cop and living doormat chasing him (#RobertDuvall), liberates himself through violence towards his wife and a colleagues. Whatever #JoelSchumacher was trying to say is muddled by the sensational presentation and was ultimately better told in #Cronenberg's #AHistoryOfViolence (2005).
