Verbal abuse: “Na hora de fazer não chorou” (“You didn’t cry like that when making the baby”)

Physical Abuse: Withholding food and water, birthing while shackled

Sexual Abuse: Forced episiotomy (cutting of perineum), forced vaginal exams
