Why is it so cloudy now? Cold ocean water (50s-low 60s) plus high pressure. The cold ocean cools and moistens the air at the surface, and high pressure causes sinking air, which traps this cold air and limits mixing, ie. clearing of clouds. #oceantemps #marinelayer #maygray
