ocenaudio is a cross-platform, easy to use, fast and functional audio editor.

Unfortunately I had no success installing it on Ubuntu. On their website there are only deb packages. No success installing the deb packages so far.

is there an open source or free audio recorder that supports #WASAPI loopback recording in #Windows, has the ability to easily add multiple markers while recording and is NOT #audacity ? #ocenaudio supports WASAPI but does not provide the loopback devices audacity does. I know I can install something like VB-Audio or banana, but I'm trying to reduce the number of all these misc drivers and apps needed to simply record audio from an app.

Anybody know of a #macOS (#AppleSilicon) pure #AudioEditor (not a #DAW) - preferable free (lol I have no money!)

I was looking forward to #Tenacity, but they're abandoning macOS because they have no devs with a Mac to help them (quick read, didn't dig too deep.)
#WavePad is super expensive and #OcenAudio doesn't like some files I just tried in it.

Habe es mit #Ocenaudio & #OdioEdit probiert, letztlich aber mit einer #Android App auf dem Smartphone erledigt.

#Ocenaudio stirbt beim Laden von 3 FLAC-Dateien, die eine Stunde lang sind, weil ihm 8 (oder eher 6 freie) GB RAM nicht genug sind. Spannend.
