Anyone know of any tools or standards for capturing the kind of filesystem #provenance metadata (e.g. modification times) that often gets lost in #digipres upload/replication?
#OCFL, for instance, just says either use a filesystem image, or store FS metadata "in an additional file"—no suggestions as to what format that additional file might take.
I could make something up (and did, for my student project last fall), but surely someone's already thought harder about this than I have.
For all of you who are still using a #Fedora (Commons) #Repository vers. 3: #Lyrasis just released a migration toolkit to jump to vers. 6. I strongly recommend to go to vers. 6 just because of the use of #OCFL https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/FF/Fedora+Migration+Paths+and+Tools

#openrepo2019
Wondering what if any intersection there is between the Oxford Common Filesystem Layout (https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/fedora-community/k7sU1IosEIU) and MOAB (http://journal.code4lib.org/articles/8482). I need some time to read up on both to better understand them.
