Our bb ocotillo came home with us from Desert Survivors nursery (Tucsonans - they're great!) something like 5 years ago.
He is doing great, and has decided that he's just going to stay a single stick.
No blossoms, just occasional leafing out and growing a little bit taller all the time.

#Ocotillo are strange plants, each following its own schedule & rhythm. My biggest one (about 10’, pictured here) sprouted leaves a couple weeks ago and looking alive & gorgeous. The other 4 still dormant, so looking dead... #FouquieriaSplendens for you!
