Discover After School will be hosting a summer camp expo this Friday, April 28th at 4:30 pm in the school cafeteria. It is open to all Andover parents and students. Today is National Librarian Day!
Mrs. Norton is Andover’s awesome Library Media Specialist who has been with Andover for over 15 years. As the school librarian, she wants to find that perfect library book for students and teachers! Mrs. Norton loves ordering new library titles, coordinating the Battle of the Books Club, and reading picture books to the primary grades. Thank you Mrs. Norton for all the hard work that you do for Andover!

Calling all makers! We are at the halfway point of the maker challenge. All submissions need to be in by the end of April to be a part of the challenge. Please be sure to have your name and teachers name. Once you finish your plan, you may start your build!

The second grade team is starting their unit of Life Cycles in Science. Beekeeper for the City of Orlando’s Office of Sustainability and Resilience, Ms. Tuesday Piper, came to visit Andover and join us in the discussion of the life cycle of a bee. She also taught our students other interesting facts about bees such as pollination, and brought in some of her beekeeping equipment. We would like to thank her for taking time out of her day and visiting Andover!

Dear Andover Families,

This month Andover’s K-kids will be participating in the Ton of Tuna drive. We will be pairing up with our sponsoring Kiwanis Club, East Orange County Kiwanis, to collect cans or foil packets of Tuna. All of the tuna collected will be benefitting local food banks. We will be collecting tuna from now until April 28, 2023.
