Given how much of a slump I'd got into with Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent lately, I've restarted the game (again).

It's the only fandom I'm still writing for, and I really love the characters, even if I'm not mad on the story. Only one storyline really grabs me, and that's the one with Bargello.

I was taking a break from Octopath Traveler CotC for a bit, but I'm back playing it again now.

Hoping that Cyrus will be along soon, but mostly I'm just trying to play with my own headcanons in mind. The game doesn't really supply extra info about the characters, so my headcanons will have to do. Especially since the main eight here aren't the main characters, just a player substitute. 🙂 #OctopathCotC

I'm taking a break from Octopath CotC. It feels like waiting for the OG 8 characters are all that's keeping me interested in it right now. Waiting for Cyrus and Olberic is all well and good, but I'm not invested in the story or any of the CotC characters right now.

I should be - the 8 starting characters in CotC are great, but the focus isn't on them. Just a few episodes here and there, whilst the story focus is mostly on NPCs. #OctopathCotC

Since Alfyn should be out on Wednesday, I'm switching focus from story to just ruby farming. Maybe short stories, or feats. Given how the pity is so high, I don't think I'll be able to get enough in time. I'm not spending, either.

Well, hopefully RNG will be kind and bring one OG apothecary my way. If not, I'm not sure what I'll do. Rerolling/restarting could be an option, for a favourite like Alfyn. Therion's banner should still be up so I could still try for him, too. Hopefully it won't come to that.
