全然きれいに戦えない
敵の名前が黄色にすらならん

オーシュット→今作のマスコットポジかと思いきや、しっかり芯のある逞しい女性だった。その中に少し人間の常識とは違うものがあるところがチャームポイント。厳しい自然界で生きているからこその達観を感じる。

テメノス→うさんくさ〜！そこがいい！ネチネチ毒吐いて欲しい〜！とわりとポップに己のヘキを叶えてもらおうとしていたが、ジワジワと足元に恐怖が迫ってきている感じがして怯え始めている。悲哀の匂いがする。

ソローネ→お願いだから幸せになってくれ。生きる場所さえ選べれば、慈愛に満ちた世界でもっと無邪気で悪戯好きな女の子になっていたであろうことを言葉の端々から感じる。

オズバルド→根っから偏屈で研究にしか興味がない人だったのかと思ってたら、もとは愛情に満ちた男性であったことが段々と明かされてきてつらい。そんな彼がエメラルドの気持ちを汲み取れなくなっていることが皮肉。お願いだから以下略

といった感じで今では各者に激重感情を抱いており一章進めるだけでハイカロリーを要する。しんどい。

「ヒカリかテメノス主人公かな。他はあまりピンとこないな。無印のときほどキャラに愛着持てるかな。」が当初の気分だったんだけど今となっては

ヒカリ→私の中の王道主人公は間違いなく君！もがきながら前に進む姿が美しい！！テーマ曲が優勝している。「孤独な王子は東へ、東へーーー」は名文(つらすぎてすぐオアーズラッシュに向かったので東へは行っていない)

パルテティオ→好きにならん人いる？？？「裏切られた！そうだ、復讐しよう。」とならず、再会しても「このヤローッ！」とならずあくまで自分のやり方を貫くところがいい。

キャスティ→感情が爆発。2、3章ボロ泣きした。ただしっかり者＝おふくろ(by.オーシュット)ではなくて深い愛情と強い信念を持った上での母性。

アグネア→ま、まぶしーっ！！てなるけど、この眩しさがスレた人々を陽の当たる場所へと呼び戻すんだなあと思う。マイナスな言葉を絶対言わないところが好き。尊敬する。

Erwartungegemäß enttäuschen die initialen Verkaufszahlen von #OCTOPATHTRAVELERII.
Leider haben die Entwickler aus dem Erfolg des originals falsche Schlüsse gezogen.
