Starting to solidify Octransfur plans, since @CrizBN put the list out so early (thank you, I'm so glad you did!).

Early concept has a running theme for all 31 days, and I will likely have $20 - $30-ish dollar commissions for several (most?) of them. I'll put up more details -- like a list of days/'mon/etc that can be claimed -- in September when I've got everything set in stone.

October isn't that far off, so it's just about time to put out the prompt list for this year's #Octransfur drawing challenge!

This is my first time posting a prompt list here, so here's the basic rundown of how this works: This is a transformation-focused Inktober alternative that I'll be running in October. One TF drawing a day, every day.

Everyone is invited to take part, in whatever way works best for them. Traditional or digital, just sketches or fully finished pictures, every day or just a few. The idea is to have fun and practice transformation, so just lean back and let the change wash over you~

(Also, for those of you with busy schedules, don't be afraid to line up a few pictures in advance. Just save a final detail or two for the day of, and I promise not to tell on you~)

Today's #Octransfur repost (Day 30 - Trick) commission for Kitcoon. The idea for this picture came from a fun fact I learned: sharks are a couple hundred million years older than dinosaurs, according to the fossil record. That means I get to be the grown-up for this transformative theme park trip (and it was a good excuse to pull out the shark form again)~

Today's #Octransfur repost was a commission for RubberRabbit. There's not all that much to say about this one, though it is fun to draw nighttime scenes every now and then. And of course, Dream Mist is a heck of a thing~

Today's #Octransfur repost (Day 26 - Ability) was a personal pic where I wheeled out my Ditto form (Ability: Imposter, naturally) and teased a pal.

This one also features another one of my favorite tropes: The mirror revealing a "true" form. It's another relatively straightforward way to imply TF if you're not feeling up for figuring out a mid-TF form at the moment, in addition to its regular uses~

Today's #Octransfur repost (Day 25 - Fortune) stars you! Sort of~ You might just look a bit different than usual.

One trope I enjoy but don't get to use all that often is a first-person picture. So I went ahead and mixed a night at the inventory with a card shark pun and dragged along some friends~

Today's #Octransfur repost (Day 22 - Science) was a commission for NanoSpace. This one's another example of one of my quick and dirty ways of making a TF pic out of something that's almost a regular pic. Just a dash of context and torn clothes, and suddenly you've got a TF!

Today's #Octransfur repost (Day 18 - Hidden) was a commission for NatureFury. The reasoning for this day was pretty straightforward: I was given a Shaymin character, and the Shaymin Village could reasonably be called hidden. I based the background on some Greek ruins I found online.

Today's #Octransfur repost (Day 16 - Snow) features Blitz the Arctic Wolf. This was a fairly self-indulgent day-- since I'd been meaning to go fully feral for a while by this point, and "Snow" is as good an excuse as any to become a snow leopard again~

This particular concept (a feral vacation) is one that I'd love to revisit in the future~

Today's #Octransfur repost (Day 14 - Crystal) was a commission for Nakito. This is another TF trope that I enjoy but I'm not sure what to call it. Maybe looking glasses? What I do know is that it's one of my favorite effects to add to TF rings.

Today's #Octransfur repost (Day 12 - Abstract) was a commission for @Hexizor

I leaned heavily into the abstract nature of things for this day, and since Hexa offered up its Celebi form, I just had to make a PMD reference~

Today's #Octransfur repost (Day 11 - Spirit) was a commission for Lightfox. Drawing dark scenes can be quite a treat-- and it plays well with my sorta sketchy shading style too!

One little detail I'm happy with were the abstract paintings alluding to all the characters' pre-TF forms. I often have trouble filling out the background, but it's nice to be able to fill it with relevant info~

Today's #Octransfur repost (Day 8 - Retro) was commission for Dismal. I got a bit carried away with this one and finished it late... which is fitting for the scenario, now that I think about it.

I leaned heavily into the nostalgia for this one, to the point that I both used real TVs as reference and pulled a screenshot directly from the original Pokemon movie credits. What else would turn you into Pikachu and Mew, after all?
