The it-was-all-a-dream part was a bit lame to the nth degree ...
But overall I liked it.
I mean, I don't think they needed to make it all a dream -- except the part where Garak gets killed. But they chose to do that ...
But I like Odo saving the day, and choosing the lousy solids over the lousy liquid people.

139 followers · 137 posts · Server universeodon.comIt's unfair to characterize #Odo as a fascist cop in the timeline that #DS9 takes place because he makes decisions regarding the application of his powers (as well as policy) and his primary nemesis is Quark, the show's personification of capitalism and avarice.
I don't know what the opposite of a fascist cop is, but Odo is far closer to whatever that is since he is the primary force standing between oppressors (ie Quark) and their victims (ie the people Quark takes advantage of). Even starfleet seems less interested in performing that role than Odo.
