In a lot of churches pledge season is gearing up. With that in mind, I’m leaning towards preaching on Rom. 12:1-8 — don’t be conformed but transformed; discern the will of God; we’re one body with many members and differing gifts.

Big move inside the apartment today, laying the ground-work to move the main shrine into the far end of the living area, where the are now.

This is going to change the flow of everything, as I'm tired of the mess being at that end and just cluttering up the space, and allow me to enjoy Jackals far more frequently than I do currently (I only go into the 'shrine room' for ritual stuff and I really want to see 100% of the time, I mean who doesn't, pfft).

So I will be able to have and and more often for Wepwawet as well since I can keep an eye on lit candles etc. and more casual "s'up *highfive*" style communication on my way to and from the kitchen 🤣

Truthfully, Wepwawet wanted a big everyday but never requested it to be as sequestered as it is now, and so He will be pleased, as He is very much an every-day Jackal God ❤

My ritual shrine will still stay in the other room where the 3D printers will go. They aren't too loud thankfully.

Update: 2.5 hours and a massive migraine, but I got it done. Don't ask for pictures behind the camera, it looks like a whole apartment exploded.

I am once again asking those new to and to not blindly follow and adopt any list of associations or substitutions with zero context, explanation or cultural background, whether the OP is talking about or even colours. No matter what it is, blanket statements are not your friend. Generalisation and indiscriminate tradition-blending are not your friend.

If you're not sure, ask. Request sources. Research. Experiment. Get various opinions, see if what makes sense to you but don't take one outsider's word as gospel on a culture they know nothing about.

Happy to start:
I'm grateful to have a space of my own. I was homeless or living in dangerous shared spaces for years. Just having a house and some room to exist is an enormous blessing.
I'm grateful for my family, for the sun that is shining so brightly today, for the potential being unlocked. Grateful for books and art supplies, and coffee.

I offer the gods parts of myself all day. I offer them my food and drink, my words, my music, my art, my sweat, my time.

I give offerings because I don't know what else to do with all this gratitude.
I am so thankful for life, and I'm awed by the beauty of nature, and I want to tell them about it!
I want to let the "persons" responsible for my life on this Earth know that I think it's awesome!
