Watched #OfficialSecrets tonight. I'd forgotten how angry I was with Bush, Blair and Howard for lying about WMDs and waging war on #Iraq, which, okay, got rid of Saddam Hussein but resulted in death and injury for so many Iraqis and coalition forces. And a region that remains beset by instability! Mission accomplished? 😠

Peers will vote on amendments to the National Security Bill on 1 March. We urge them to support Amendment 79 to create a public interest defence to charges under the Bill. The amendment has been tabled by Lord Marks of Henley-on-Thames supported by Lord Garnier & Lord Pannick.
