Releasing Offpunk 2.0-beta1, hoping to catch more bugs before the final 2.0 relase (and hoping to get help with the packaging):
https://git.sr.ht/~lioploum/offpunk/refs/v2.0-beta1
full announce:

In my terminal, I’ve configured the following alias:
readlater="offpunk --fetch-later `xsel -p`".
This means that if I type "readlater" in any terminal, if there’s an URL in my clipboard (or several), those are added to my offpunk reading list.
So when browsing with firefox and finding something that looks interesting, I simply copy the url then type "readlater" in any available terminal.
Yep, #offpunk completely replace Pocket for me ;-)
For the #terminal geeks, #console lovers and #python hackers: Offpunk 2.0 is nearly ready for release. I only need a lot of testing.
A new very nice feature just landed in trunk: themes. You can now customize the colors!

Don’t hesitate to drop a word on the -devel or -user mailing-list.

Playing around with #Offpunk, a cli, offline-first browser for the #Gemini, #Gopher, and http protocols.
#Offpunk is a fork of the #AV98 #Gemini browser, but with an emphasis on being operational with intermittent connectivity: it updates a list of bookmarked capsules or websites, and allows browsing them while offline.

@Shufei FiveQuestions is more exact, thus I remember it more readily.
Good luck with compiling Offpunk. I know nothing of it, but I wish you success in all endeavors. ( which do you use: US, or nonUS English spelling?) Perhaps you can tell me the how, what, and why of #Offpunk
I tried to install #Offpunk, but was saddened by two lines which did not run happily on my system. When I can send a non-html email to the list I shall ask for support in this sadness. I believe Chafa doesn’t like it on Raspbian, which is further sadness because I like Chafa on firm principle! Anyway, it is very chilly and grey and I’ve not the power budget for much compy fun. Cheers, Offpunks and offpunkettes.
@yeti @louis : I’m starting myself to use offpunk lists as my new zettelkasten, writing my notes directly in gemtext with the links I need and are cached by offpunk.
Offpunk use $EDITOR to edit list (I’m using Vim myself) but it should works as well with emacs.

After that, I’ve a very custom script to export to html.
Offpunk 1.7.1 released urgently because of a stupid bug in the release:

Thanks @kelbot for finding this so quickly.
Releasing Offpunk 1.7 and discussing my migration to #sourcehut.

If you like the command-line, I encourage you test #offpunk to discover #gemini and #offline web browsing.

@dan The way of counting telephone bills were the same in my country. In the late 90's it was possible to use some discounts after 10 p.m., it was 6 minutes fee instead of 3 minutes. There were many ways of techniques for "saving" time (reinvented ideas like #offpunk browser for #gemini) and I had been connecting to the net always with some purpose then.
si vous essayez #offpunk , est-ce qu'en tentant d'accéder à mon blog vous arrivez sur le dernier post publié ou pas du tout ?

de mon côté, j'arrive sur une publication antérieure qui n'est même pas visible directement sur la page 🤔
