@webmink FWIW I forget the precise speaking event but it was likely #oggcamp "back in the day", you gave a presentation from a Mac as I recall, and started with a very similar comment, acknowledging you were in a room full of mostly-FOSS-preferring friends who may have demurred on your personal choice, but explaining that you understood the compromises you were choosing. That really impressed me and it has stayed with me. So, belatedly, thank you for that.
