25. Up to the #OGL debacle/fiasco/whathaveyou there were no unplayed #ttrp systems on my shelf. Now there are several. I pick the one that is most unlikely to get played in the near future: Blueholme Prentice Rules. 📘
Not because it is bad or anything, but I‘m just more eager to play White Hack, #OSRIC and #SwordsAndWizardry 🤷‍♂️

Despite the #OGL fiasco, I was really looking forward to the upcoming Bigby giant book for #5e. Its subject matter interests me greatly, and its table of contents on #dndbeyond looks solid.

But the new #AI art fiasco with that book is really turning me off.

How #WotC responds to this is going to be important to me. I know I've been more forgiving to them than most -- and I want to continue being forgiving -- but they're making it hard.

Can I just say how annoying 1st level is? A couple of little fights and one forced march, and one of the characters almost perma-died. 🙄 OK, so yeah, that's kind of a lot. And the suspense is good, but a little more wiggle room makes me feel better.

Though TIL that mending is a heal spell for androids in StarFinder! Good thing I have it because our medic is an android.

I highly recommend watching Roll of Law’s latest video explaining the new #ORCLicense. Basically you give all of your work away if you use it. Watch all of the video, but he makes that point at 24:48. It also sounds like there is no way you should use this without engaging a lawyer. Something that I don’t think can be said enough. Those that trail against capitalism yet contribute content to #DnD and #wotc are a problem.

#Youtube is a hellhole. I just bumped into a clip about #DnD #OGL mess and got recommendation for a clip about rise and fall of #AngryBirds which interested me a little. And then got recommendation for a clip about rise and fall of #Blizzard and #Overwatch which I watched because I felt nostalgic for WoW. And then suddenly I started getting incel-facing ads for sexism-ridden "flirting academies" and generating "AI girls". I should just stop engaging with it

@Tim_Eagon @chgowiz @Yora all three (#SWN, #WWN, #CWN) have free versions and he’s looking into an open license for comfort.
