An interesting Ramblers walk today called the three rivers walk. It also included an old cemetery used by staff and patients of the nearby former Angelton Lunatic Asylum. Took advantage of the lovely weather, and went walking around #Ogmore Castle with my mother in law. Then went to #Bridgend castle for a quick look around, now back home with a cuppa (not pictured!).

A short #walk to the confluence of the #Ewenny and #Ogmore rivers today gave me frustratingly distant views of many #birds, including Redwing, Little Egret, Kingfisher, Goldcrest, Shoveller , Goosander, Teal, Goldeneye, Redshank and a flock of 30+ Curlews. My photography skills were particularly bad today, but even a blurry photo of a curlew is worth it in my opinion 😏
