Die #OpenGovernment Partnership (#OGP) ist eine internationale Initiative zur Förderung von offenem Regierungs- und Verwaltungshandeln. Seit Dezember 2016 nimmt auch Deutschland an der OGP teil.
@D64eV hat sich deswegen @oliverrack als ausgewiesenen Experten für dieses Thema eingeladen. Am 2. August steht er im Online-Talk Rede & Antwort.

tl;dr?
Another plan stuffed full of work that was going to happen anyway, and civil society calls for stronger commitments have been rejected. Only a commitment to build multi-channel public services (instead of focusing on digital) is new and valuable.

264 followers · 172 posts · Server mastodon.socialFor the last couple of years I’ve led the New Zealand Council for Civil Liberties work on development of Aotearoa New Zealand’s next National Action Plan as a member of the Open Government Partnership.
The draft plan was approved by Cabinet on Monday and published late yesterday. It’s fair to say that it’s a serious disappointment. Serious questions arise about whether NZ should withdraw from the #OGP.
