Today, in Jira 😩 :
* Press the "Create" button in the toolbar to create a new ticket before going home for the day.
* Spend twenty minutes filling out the details of the ticket.
* Clip the Escape key while reaching for the dregs of your glass of water.

Ticket's gone, irretrievably. The "create ticket" form caught that Escape, and jumped into the ether never to be seen again. No recovery.

So far as I can tell, fixing this was first requested in 2004.
