Last weekend I finished a demo for the OHR ONE ROOM CONTEST 2018. 😀

Be warned, though, it is it's just a very basic demo and very, very incomplete and buggy. 🐞 The scripting for the map, to hide the rooms took a lot of time, more than expected, so I had to cut short on the plot and environment design. More time would have been nice, in the end I stayed up very late just to finish the demo and upload it. 😴

I also got a review for the game, saying the player is courious how the plot goes on! I'm very happy about someone saying this. 😊

And also there is a screenshot from my unfinbishe game where the player spots the tiny rat with the key. You can still see the NPCs in other areas, later in game they will be covered by the overhead wall tiles.
I still need to fix lots of buggy doors and implement the most of the story. 🐌 Time's getting short. Might finish the game behind scedule, maybe? 😅

This is an other quite old monster sprite made with the #ohrrpgce game engine. It is a hero sprite set, it has animations used for player characters during battel.

I've been wotking a bit on my ohrrpgece rpg game again.
I added a new tileset with tools and things for the inhabitants of the village (Image 3). I did not plan to use an etra tileset, but it turned out be better that way. May items I took from other tilesets and rearranged them. It's very handy to have aselfmade 'tilset collection' at hand to use.

I added fern to the garden (Image 1), so there will be monsters therelater as well.
Image 2 shows a statue, it is meant to be used a healing point, where the heros can restore their HP and MP. I had not added any yet. A statue can be placed almost anywhere on outside maps, it seems to be a good choice.
Maybe I'll use a special stone instead of a statue 🤔. I could better animate the stone NPC, the statue is just tilemap and not that easily to animate. Anyhow, there are thoughts that will make the game better, but finishing it has priority at the moment. 😅

I was asked about my game projects and where to find more information.

I have 2 game projects going on at the moment: One is a multi user rpg I'm coding in #python using #pygame, the other one is an rpg I'm making with the #ohrrpgce.(Link to OHR wiki: http://rpg.hamsterrepublic.com/ohrrpgce/Main_Page).
The latter one has a story, the first one is planned to be more like an rpg chat, so there is no story planned.

But allow me to post some early screenshots.
I've been working on my #ohrrpgce #rpg project.
I added an additional grass border tile as recommended by @eishiya (if I rerember correctly.)
Here are some screenshots of today's work:

The path to town with a new border added (image 1). The tilset for the jungle village. I ran a bit out of ideas what to draw for a village, so I just drew more plants and huts (image 2).
And how the village looks with NPCs added (image 3). They also have a small 'garden'/field nearby where I'll add some weak monsters for fighting (image 4).

I'd really like to hear your comments and ideas on this. 🙂

The mer people use little water magic, they can live on land, but be need to take baths often.
These files were originally meant to be used in an ohrrpgce game. A sigle walkabout is 20x20, the enemy sprite is 50x50 pixles
