This photo is from the family album. I don't think any of my relations are on the photo, but the writing on the back has been written by someone from my family.
It says, "The last oil ship built at Palmers, Jarrow."
My great grandad worked there as a boilermaker, and my grandad was there for a little while before he moved to the East Midlands for work in the 1930s.
I love my Northern roots.
