We're having a #typhoon today. My workplace #OIST is closed for the day, and you don't want to go outside if you can avoid it.

Some quality time with my #sanshin and my #SteamDeck is in my near future, I suspect. Life could certainly be worse.

I got myself a #sanshin ! I've been playing #ukulele for some years, and when my workplace #OIST offered an introduction class I figured it's time to learn the signature instrument of #Okinawa .

Depuis mon déménagement à #OIST, je m'entraîne à l'#aïkido deux fois par semaine avec des collègues dans une salle polyvalente. Nous n'avons que trois tatamis, mais pourtant nous n'y sommes pas à l'étroit...

Après 14 ans passés dans la plus grand agglomération du monde, je déménagerai le premier août avec ma petite famille sur une île subtropicale, pour aller travailler à #OIST (Okinawa Institute of Science and Technologies). Difficile de décrire ce mélange d'excitation pour ce changement à venir, et de mélancolie pour ce et ceux que je quitte. Mais le XXIème siècle fait fi des distances...
