Included in this lot is a pink silk bag with embroidered flying crane decoration, with two carved ivory ojime beads. Early 20th century. Been hunting for a little acorn to wear as a necklace for a while and came across this ojime that I couldn't resist. Just arrived and its perfect! I'm a big fan of netsuke and sagemono in general (dangerous things to start collecting!) + acorns are good luck symbols and have a rich mythology of protection, potential, strength and good health. A perfect charm!
