#Okami may be my favorite game of all time. It feels so perfectly designed, has so many interesting and wonderful things to explore, and can feel like a full-on spiritual experience at times. When I finally got to the end, and Amaterasu defeated the god of darkness and the sun came back out, I literally broke down in front of the TV crying "I want to believe!"
It's a pretty powerful piece of media.

I felt this happy sense of relief like I was able to be happy with what I created. And though I enjoy writing commissions for the most part, it's just so different when you're catering to what you want instead of what others want.

This first story was something I didn't know how I would accomplish. Two characters I love who are both mute and quadrupedal. You have to be very. Very. VERY careful to make sure everything is conveyed properly and doesn't verge on anything like bestiality or non-consensual. But ultimately, I think I was able to capture their individual identities, make it a story that had a 'feel good' sense to it, and...was a lot of fun to create.

This second story had been living in my mind for YEARS. I'd wanted to do something where Nala and Scar got together, but in a way that felt natural, didn't verge on anything non-consensual, and made sense. When it was all said and done, I feel like I accomplished that and then some. I was SO happy with the result, and it just...it's one of the best feelings I've had from finishing a story.
So again. Be selfish! Cater to your needs! And above all, create art that YOU love!

Today is a good #LoneWolfandCub admiration day. Kazuo Koike (writer) and Gōseki Kojima (artist) were and are extremely influential in style.
Are there a more interesting protagonist in comics than Rōnin Itto Ogami and his son Daigoro? Highly #recommended. I also like the old and very violent #Okami show.

A parte l'inizio lento e difficile da seguire per me (troppe informazioni, troppi nomi), quando il gameplay si è aperto un attimo quelle ore sono volate. Mi è piaciuto proprio tanto. Ora il dubbio, che inizio? Inizialmente pensavo a #MetalGearSolid 3 ma forse un secondo gioco di fila così story driven meglio evitarlo. Indeciso se cominciare #PrinceOfPersia spirito guerriero, #Folklore o #Okami HD.
