#DavidBrooks is the archetype against which the phrase #OkayBoomer should be lobbed. So high on his own supply of "the good ol days", and utterly devoid of any measure of introspection or ability to learn.

How did you learn about the internet? I was employed by Ogilvy & Mather #Advertising and our client, Canadian Airlines, had some #Geek guys that new all about it and held a presentation to explain for a large internal and external folks. This was 1994. They directed us to #Yahoo’s search functionality and I never looked back.

I think it’s time for me #cancel Bill Maher. His schtick these days boils down to variations on “you kids get off my lawn.” He’s borderline transphobic, and his guests largely seem chosen for their sympathy to his grievances (woke bad, Gen Z ruined, Covid whining) His recent apologia for Elon Musk is really the last straw. And his asinine comments that Twitter’s “just a website” that can’t possibly stop working, reveal an ignorance about tech matching his ignorance about Covid. #okayboomer
