@darnell I had the same or similar reason in mind a few months back and also needed it for my Justice advocacy work #okcinfo but I decided the toxicity and the ownership and the increased antisemitism, racism go directly against my own values, no compromises can be made with that, plus it's also really bad for my mental health. oh and the ads, spam and general shityness have increased 1000x folds. my profile there serve to bridge people to Bluesky & Mastodon and that's it.

@Claire yes indeed, they only reacted after the fallout because it was directly impacting their donations, images and out of some sort of exception towards #okcinfo because we were children's, denying the systemic issues in other centers (Shambhala, RIGPA etc) and the movie doesn't even go in depth about the Tulku system, inner part of non-western Tibetan Buddhism, how they produce "big lama's" out of children's, without their informed consent.

@ChrisJKelly those documents are very damning, to the level of having the power to at least partially severely hurt his image, this is why he did got in touch with the victims and #okcinfo and did tried to do, late, what he could. March 2023 he managed to make OKC spiritual director quit OKC, but all in silence, no fuss, no public declaration on his own communication channels.
It's like suddenly they are taking the measure of what they collaborated with but without full recognition.
