Implementing OKRs brings to light fascinating truths about organizations and how they operate: leader behavior (and coherence or incoherence of it); beliefs about accountability and ownership of both the responsibilities and benefits of labor; and in some cases, deeply held biases and even gaslighting become visible for everyone to see.

I kept working with OKRs because I saw the impact they could have on organizational alignment and results. The promise of OKRs can yield fruit: by communicating clear, aligned expectations at scale, we can see increased employee engagement and higher organizational performance.

Someone sparked an idea in my head which I haven’t been able to drop- an easy, email-driven way to track #OKRs.
Whether or not OKRs are the best way of tracking progress at a company is debatable. But what’s *not debatable* is that many orgs use them, but keeping them updated is a real pain.
